Do wipe any oil from the chamber of your ar-15 / 10 before you go shooing for easier primary extraction ??

Always wipe the oil from any rifle chamber before shooting, dangerous overpressure can result from an oily chamber.

what he said ! you could try lightly greasing the bolt carrier and moving parts (but not the locking lugs) hard extraction is part and parcel of the straight pull experience, try different makes of ammo, and if reloading always full length size.if not already fitted, then an aftermarket bolt handle may offer greater leverage over the standard, Mark Bradley is probably the most experienced person with this type of rifle, give him a call.

Back in '85 when I bought my Colt AR15A2 Sporter II, the RFD emphasised that the barrel and chamber should be dry and free from any oil or other contaminents before use.

whats the best way to clean the chamber of oil?? i have a lmt 308 straight pull no extraction issues at all, even when i fired two 20 round mags fast as i could work the side charger and trigger. (i was surprised you could fire a straight pull that fast)...however when i clean the rifle i been reading that the bolt and carrier should be oiled liberally and drop of oil in the barrel and chamber.

Never had hard extraction on my AKs or Dragunov, probably down to Mother Russias glorious tapered cases

Crack on, if it works for you then great just keep doing what you are doing.

I agree with Saddler, when I clean my AR's The barrel and chamber is always free of oil and dirt, no oil in the barrel either when I put them away. One may worry about rust but not a worry as I have de-humidifiers in both my gun safes and so far to date they have worked great, barrels are rust free. For the working parts I give them a thin coat of Brake Free CLP oil, this keeps the working parts moving nicely.

As the old saying goes - "A rifle should be like a good soldier, spotlessly clean and lightly oiled."

I certainly wouldn't liberally oil a barrel and chamber, not unless I was putting the rifle away into storage. In which case I would ensure that all oil was removed prior to use probably by wiping out finally with meths.
