The owner started with this "basic" MG 53 purchased for €490 in Lux
and went to this ...
I am not so hot on the stock replacement but WTF that must be fun

Not feeling the scope, but still a nice bit of kit.
Wonder if they can have a PKM.......might be time to up sticks to Belgium!

Agree, an old Elcan would have looked much more "sympathetic" while doing the job perfectly .
Wonder if they can have a PKM....
Of course ... € 1,4 / £ 1,2K and the PKM is yours Tovarich ...

If I am very honnest, I made an exception for you but I try to avoid those sites as I always end up seriously depressed ...
AKSU € 800 / £ 650,
AK M70 € 490 / £ 400,
and a nice "Fascist slaughtering best PPS43 tool" for a mere 225 quids ... Baaaaaargain

A M70 would be nice, a very good Yugo AK variant with a grenade launcher sight on the gas block that shuts off the gas port when its raised.
