Is Severnside range a place you can just turn up and shoot as a visitor? If so when is the best Day/times to go?

Not sure if you can just turn up as there's no permanently manned office or shop there - just an old porta cabin that's just got a few chairs and a coffee machine.
Dursley Rifle and Pistol club meet there on the last Sunday of the month at 11a.m. Tomorrow is the next meet. Newcomers have always been welcomed.
You can email the club for details about coming along:

I tried contacting the Dursley guys before and never had a response. I would however be grateful if I could pop by tomorrow. How long do you shoot for?

I popped over and spoke to Richard the owner last week. I also signed up as a member (probationary for 3 months)
it's open to members wednesdays, saturdays and every other sunday i believe. 11-2@100yards and 2-4@200yards. other clubs like Dursley use it at other times. Membership is limited to 200 people and i think after me there might have been 1 spot left.
I tried to contact Dursley and got no response so just turned up at severnside and spoke to Richard he's a really nice bloke. They do have guest days once a month I think and costs the guest £15 but you need to be with a member.

I've been a member of Sevenside for a few years, you can just turn up and pay £15 for a Day's shooting on a wednesday as long as you have an FAC.
Great club to join and Richard the owner is a great guy!
