Replacement recoil pad

I'm planning on extending the stock of my CZ 527 laminate. I've got a slip on pad at the moment but want something nicer. The existing recoil pad will be too small once the extension is on. Anyone have experience of good replacement pads which can be ground to fit. They all seem expensive for a bit of rubber.

Have you taken the existing one off yet ? I know on the .22 rifles they are glued on and take a bit of careful persuading to get them off .

No haven't taken it off yet. It looks to be glued and didn't want to disturb it until I'm ready to go.
