Trigger upgrade. Tikka 595 to TRG :)

I had a 'oooh sheet' moment out foxing last week,
Since I got my TRG, everything else has been locked away and unused, but I had some foxes to deal with where a .308 would be a little too much noise, so I brought the good ol' .222 Tikka 595 out of retirement,
After about half an hour on the farm, I thought it'd be a good idea to check zero before using it in anger, so I set up a target and loaded up, lined up, took up the first stage, BOOM !!!!
Damn! So used to the TRG, it totally left my mind that the Tikka has a single stage trigger. Fortunately, I was on target, and no harm done, except to the target/backstop.
I didn't feel happy though, if that had happened another time, it may not have been a good outcome.
Now, thankfully, I'd picked up a spare trigger pack cheaply for the TRG not long after buying the rifle,
So, I stripped down the rifle, did a few measurements, and decided to see if I could get it fitted to the 222 without too much grief, punched out the pins holding the guard to the unit, swapped over the safety's, and a little dremmel work on the bottom metal (ok, plastic) and the trigger blade, and hey presto, TRG two stage trigger on the Tikka.
I've checked the safety works as it should, and that it won't bump fire etc, and dry fired a good few times, all works well.
Just checked zero, and I now have my confidence back in the Tikka.
Far more preferable having three triggers all the same for consistency in my mind.
Anyway, it's an easy job if anybody else has ever thought about doing it. Just a shame a new TRG trigger is crazy money :/
