Hi all, I'm getting a Sauer 202 elegance in .308 and have read some good things about the rifle.
Does anybody have experience shooting them and if so, what do you think?

I have worked with them in the past and they are superb rifles, sadly I did not have a chance to shoot the one we had here. I am sure you will enjoy it.

I've onwed a Sauer 200 in .308 - the same rifle with the exception of the safety - since 1988. Superbly accurate (<0.5MOA) and ultra reliable, I've killed >500 deer with it and won a number of competitions, go for it.

I have a Sauer 202 Wolverine in 6.5x55 and its a superb rifle, quality finish and excellent accuracy, I would highly recommended them.

That is a lovely looking rifle. I'm not sure that I like the fixed open sights, but that's just me. I can't fault anything else on it...

Then buy one with a bare back barrel, the choice is yours. That's the beauty of the system.
