Could this be the beginning of the end for Remington - it's going to cost billions and take years depending upon take-up.

Will need to give this a long look when I getz in from the range...taking the 6.8 out to get dampened

Is this above and beyond the recall to replace the X-Mark triggers earlier this year?

Yes, seems this one covers ALL R700's

Yip...1962 onwards - the original Walker design...

VERY suspicious, as the Walker is what the Marine Corps have issued since 1966 when they adopted the 700 as the M40...

"Settlement", "court", "federal judge", sounds like someone sued Remington and this is their "penalty"...
