How come you weren't named Victor?
The honest truth is I was very nearly Christened just that, one of my parent changing their mind at the last minute. The kids in the Village I used live in did call me Victor. I had a kiddies swing park right next to my cottage and was always popping out when the language/noise got out of hand.

Thanks everybody. My accountants secretary told me that Her husband was born on VE Day... I said,''Yes but I was born on the VE Day.'' ''So was he,'' She replied. Well a couple of years ago I met the lady shopping in the supermarket with her husband in tow. She introduced me to him. I really had to force myself to stop myself from blurting out .... ''Blimey don't you look old.'' When I told Mrs Jenks the story she asked...... ''Have you looked in the mirror lately?''
I'm pretty sure my dear old Mum (dead now) would have preferred it, if I had been born a month or two earlier.
