He was a superb presenter and DJ, with an unmatched voice and wit. RIP Sir Terry.

A National Treasure and I am truly saddened to hear of his passing. Certainly I feel more connected to him than some of the others that have gone this year. The Viking and I watched his TV series last year with Mason McQueen and both said he looked older and a bit more fragile.

Couldn't stand the man, failed to see any talent in his inaneness.
Still no doubt he had people that loved him, condolences to the bereaved.

Never in the field of human conflict has one man with so little talent (can't sing, can't dance' etc) given joy to millions. He may have been an eejit, but I enjoyed listening to his voice on the radio and laughed at his Eurovision p*ss takes. I for one will miss his cheeky grin and his unscripted comments.
Someone on another forum said that there is an Irish saying namely " I hope he gets to heaven half an hour before the devil knows he's dead."
I liked him. RIP Tel.

Sad news for his fans & family.
I thought of him as one of the BBC's grates....
Prefer the similar, yet shortee, ramblings of Seamus Android

My 15 mins of fame, well more like 30 seconds

was have El Tel shove a microphone in my face in the audiences of Children in need about 20 years ago.
I liked his style and humour, RIP
Alan
