Does it cover all ranges, all disciplines?
Or does it have to be an NRA issued one in order to be an RCO at a full-bore range?

I thought the NSRA issued RCO certification which covered centre fire at one stage.

As saddler says. Nsra RcO is for small bore only. NRA can do small and full-bore.

The NSRA qualification is for non military "small bore" ranges on which you can also shoot full bore cartridges.
It is not recognised by the MoD/Landmark and the course is a pale shadow of the NRA one.
No doubt a lot of clubs like ours will have no requirement to have qualified RCOS, only competent people in charge of the range, from my experience with the NSRA RCO "course" it is no guarantee of competency.

Hmm.. the more I think about it the more I am sure I met an NSRA RCO who assured me he could RO centrefire and I am sure it was even discussed at club level and decided that it was not an NRA qualification so was not suitable for the clubs needs on MoD ranges. It caused a bit of a stir at the time. This was maybe 8-10 years ago.

Regardless of the ability of the NSRA qualified RCO, that qualification is not recognised for full bore military ranges by the MoD/Landmarc.

From latest NRA RCO handbook
All shooting by members of civilian club on DE ranges must be controlled by an RCO qualified by either the NRA or NSRA
NRA RCO covers Small bore & Full bore, HME is now a module done at time or as and add on.
NSRA RCO covers small bore, air weapons & LT WT sport rifle disciplines only
To RCO for Muzzle loading you have to do add on course by MLAGB
Top RCO for moving target you have to do an add on course done by BSRC
I & 7 other BRPC members are at Bisley next weekend doing RCO course, so can get any up-to-date information if you want it

Likewise, the NSRA Shooter Certification Card applies to rimfire only.
