The Edgar Brothers facebook page recently added an article on clays by Yardley.
After several protests about the author - it has been taken down.
Yardley has called it a sickening attack by the AR community who "accept no criticism"
Then he deletes all my critical posts.
Although, the fact that I was one of those who popsted on the Edgar Brothers facebook was nothing to d with it I guess ? gunlike

He tends to delete any posts that prove a point.

And shows him up for the Hypocrite he is. That's why screencaps are your best friend and Yardley appears to not realize that.

I do like mike and most of his vision for UK shooting....I do kinda see where he's coming from regarding mini rifle and ar15's but come on....it's only a platform to distribute rounds......
I also find it perplexing that nothing designed to kill people should be used for UK sports shooting.....so how does he account for the 500 odd comps he won with Lee enfeilds?
So it's a bit us and them...

He's been frothing at the mouth on his facebook since that Orlando shooting.
I don't understand how anyone who gets erect at blatting a couple of hundred birds in a morning can look down on someone who shoots paper and steel and call them blood thirsty.

We need to keep the pressure on.
Everywhere he pops up in social media, we should challenge him politely.
Any retailer or importer ( especially those who deal in any of the firearms he berates ) who associates with him should be informed of his divisive opinions.

I wonder how long it will take him to remove my post?
"Strange, you had no problems when you shot Lee Enfields in competitions, weren't they also high capacity modern military firearms when they were designed?, and yes, they are firearms not weapons, they only become a weapon when they are used that way, same as knives and baseball bats."

I have been trying to "reason" with him for the last week or two. I have pointed out several times that the Lee Enfield (and other rifles of the period) were the "Black Rifles" of their day and the fact that many of the examples now owned and used by target shooters will have put men in the ground.
I am still the same person if I am shooting a wood stocked O/U shotgun or either of my black Sect 1 Benellis. Same with my rifles..... if I am using my "Old fashioned" Marlin under levers or my SGC 9mm Lever-release AR, I an still the same person.
Of the 5 high profile shootings over the last few decades, 3 of the killers used Shotguns..... yet we don't hear him vilifying traditional shotguns do we?
