My FAC application has been in exactly 3 months now without a sniff of anyone contacting me or my referees so would you say its time to get on the blower and see whats going on?

I assume you are in the wrong part of Yorkshire then... Yes, get on the 'phone and hassle them politely.

Are these first applications. Surely they are not renewals. That's totally out of order I would be wanting to know what's going on.

First application for me but seeing as though I already have section 2 I would have thought the legwork would have been done already with that application. Obviously not.

Yes said it will be 'around' 4 weeks till I get the paperwork. So I'm hoping around the 15th of August

Very nice guy not how I expected. He Did say renewals were priority and that they had staff cutbacks.
