What shooting related stuff can I do tomorrow?

I'm in the very rare position of the entire family clearing off in a minute and leaving me to my own devices until teatime on sat. This almost never happens.

While it is tempting to install myself on the sofa binge-watching box sets with junk food, I wonder if there is anything productive I can get up to instead... Visit a gunshop, go to a clay range, try to find a guest day, visit a show, come watch someone else shoot... Is there anything that anyone knows of? I'm limited as I only have smallbore on ticket at the moment and a cupboard full of S2 shotguns. Got cash and up for owt.

I'm in Whitby but can travel for a couple of hours - any ideas?

I'm already shooting a smallbore 50/100 open shoot in Leeds on Sunday so if nothing comes off its all good, but you never know!

Cheers all
Mike

Go get your most miserable mate and take him shooting for the day, let him win. Then take him to the pub and get a kebab on the way home.

How about going to shoot out to 1,600 yards at Orion or going to the Isle of Man to shoot pistols?

Is there anything going on at CDSG tomorrow, that's just down the coast?

It's hard to tell - they're a flipping nightmare to get hold of on the phone. With the game season firmly underway and pheasants to come in a few weeks they will also be chock-full of rich folk who haven't shot a gun since last winter :)

It's quite a long way from Whitby... Doubt I could go to IOM for the morning, nice though it would be! Just checked and it would be 7.5hrs each way :D

That was my first idea - the miserable gets are too miserable to get off their sofa and join me.

I suspect I may have a mooch to a gunshop a little further afield and probably buy something utterly unnecessary :)

I'm in Mauritius Scuba diving, does that help?

Wonder if there's any full auto ranges here...
