Obviously refers to a non shooting holiday. So your off with the family, wife 2.4 children to the west country for a family beach holiday. No guns allowed!!!
Do you just make sure all is locked up but your guns are in their usual resting place or do you send them on holiday to your local, friendly, RFD or what......................................?
Interested to hear your comments!!

Mine stay where they are: in the safe.
Anything else and it could be queried "are your firearms not secure".

I take the keys with me, but leave the guns in the safe.
I do ask the neighbours to keep an eye on the house too.

In the safe at home and the keys are locked away in the usual secure place. No one can be expected to be home 24/7/365.....!

It's messy, but can save some space in the car :)

Sorry, I cant comprehend. What is a holiday without the guns? The only scenario that could possibly be, is that you are collecting a new toy from the factory and you are taking the children with you!?
Leave them where they are. Take the keys with. I never leave the keys in the house while I'm away. If you get broken into, it is because they know you are away, and that they have HOURS to find all the best things in your home. Once they see the cabinet they will be looking for keys.
