Shooting table?

Due to the joys of decreasing mobility and increasing pain when shooting prone at the outdoor ranges I'm looking at getting a shooting table.

I have one in mind, not too expensive and hopefully will be able to support my trim athletic figure (6'5" & 19st!!)

Anyone got or used one of these?

With the seat directly and centrally behind the rifle rest will it actually be possible to get behind the rifle?? I think it would need you to can the body of the stand to the right (if you were right handed) to keep the rifle facing the target

The front rest part moves horizontally and vertically so it should work for right or left handed, there's a photo on another eBay add,

Several club members have them & say they are brilliant well worth the money, only down side is you need a big car boot to carry them.

I'm disabled and use a home-made bench with folding legs - this was made by my son and serves my purpose very well - total cost around £50 including folding legs from ebaY - it fits behind the passenger seat in my Volkswagen Golf.

The top is made from MDF cut to order in our local DIY store, covered in self-adhesive neoprene from ebaY

Nice :D

"only down side is you need a big car boot to carry them" Honda Jazz with the seats folded flat should do it :)

Can't you not just get Jared to kneel down and shoot of his shoulder?

Tempting, I have enough trouble getting him out of bed and out of the house as it is!.

I must admit he makes a great pack mule, I mean helper, only problem is he hates walking so B range at Ponteland is always a challenge :)

My bench will fit in upright behind a front car seat - folds very flat, only about 6" deep when folded. I've been transporting mine back and fore between home and Cawdor range for three years now.
