Shorter barrel and magazine tube on one and re-barrel and shorter magazine tube on the other one. I am way behind on my rifle work so it is handy I can do two together. They also need trigger jobs and slicking which I will do at the same time. Normally if people ask me to shorten a barrel I give them a piece of masking tape and saw show me where, then walk over to the horizontal band saw and chop them there and then :)

Just waiting for a good day to spray it, and get some plastic furniture for it from the US at Christmas

Image

Since the pic it has had a front site base soldered on, and have some fibre optic sights for it which are just visible over the QD moderator!

That'd be a prime candidate for Duracoating, though I'd keep the wood on it in preference to plastic.
Tempted to fit a moderator to my Trapper, but I'd internally thread it for a bushing.
Mine's got an aperture sight....fully slicked & tuned. Great guns!

Cerakote is my preference and it would look good for it, alternatively parkerising looks good however the receiver might be problematical dependant on the material. :good:
