Hi All
Hogan Firearms (UK, not US) manufacture the "Decimeater" moderator for .22 rimfire. I need to get hold of them to ask some technical questions about this moderator, since it is one of the next 10 moderators I will be testing.
Is there anyone here who has contact details for them?

Re: Hogan Firearms (UK): contact details needed
Thanks to Phaedra, some progress has been made. I found out some details from the guys at Redbeck:
1) Jim Hogan designed the Decimeater but he sold the design.
2) Hogan Firearms does not exist any longer. The company went into receivership a few years back. However the moderator as sold by Highland Outdoors still comes in a tube with a Hogan Firearms logo. I can verify this, since I have purchased one of those and the only branding on it is Hogan Firearms.
3) It may well be that another company bought the moderator business after Hogan and that company also ran into trouble and now the business is in the hands of a third manufacturer.
That's all they can tell me, but the short answer is Jim Hogan doesn't have anything to do with these moderators any longer.
I finally found a number for Highland Outdoors and I called them today. It turns out they recognised my name from an email I sent them on the 13th of October (which they did not reply to).
From the conversation I had with the guy today on the phone, they (Highland Outdoors) are reluctant to divulge who the manufacturer of the moderator is.
I've reminded them that it is for legitimate research (the email I sent them on the 13th had links to the work I have already done, and had clear technical questions which have nothing to do with taking any business away from Highland Outdoors). The guy I spoke to said he would discuss this with his boss and get back to me.
As a matter of interest, the same thing happened with Ruag when I wanted contact details for Hausken. In the case of Ruag, once they knew what I was doing they passed the info to Hausken and then Hausken contacted me directly. Which is fair enough. Hausken have been very helpful ever since making contact.
I'll let you know what happens with Highland Outdoors and the curious case of the Hogan Decimeater...
