It has also been reported that members of the club have on returning to their car at the end of the night found one or two flat tyres................

According to the detective in charge , he has never heard of this !

That was in the email received by our club secretary that, I think, came from thier club secretary.

It pays to be paranoid sometimes.

It pays to be vigilant, beef up the home security if possible - and maybe don't go shooting alone?

Deflating a tyre is a good way of distracting the car owner - and springing some surpise. I'd hate to think any other car owners just drove off and left the "victim" to sort the wheel change alone.

Safety in numbers folks....you don't know who is behind these things, and let's face it - the government has allowed a good number of potential suspects capable of wanting your firearms to arrive here of late. You can't be too careful nowadays.

I see on their website they give away their location....that's something our clubs website has been very careful to avoid...
