Gobsmacked doesn't even come close!! The colour case hardening on the bolt is a work of art in itself, never mind the rest of the rifle. wtf

Sold for an 'undisclosed sum'. Hmmm ....... I'm betting that there were a lot of 000's in the number! :o

Bet its a 1:12 twist too!

Needs less gold bling...a polymer Magpul AICS mag conversion is going to stick out like tits on a bicycle.

I had a vision of an old sit up and beg bike with a pair of comedy breasts slung over the bars so, trying to be clever and get a cheap laugh by posting such an image I googled "tits on a bike" and hit images and glad I did :D :D :D

But alas, no sit up and beg with plastic knockers was found :bad:

For tits on a bike you need to go to Brighton. Walked out of a pub there once, to be greeted by the totally unexpected sight of hundreds of naked cyclist riding past. Apparently it's an annual thing. Quite surreal at the time. One of those "how much have I had to drink" moments.

I went to Brighton just the once with a g/f. The beach was pebbly, she sulked as she kept hopping from foot to foot whilst trying to hold a towel around herself and get changed, threw the towel on the floor to stand on and got her kit off and changed right there much to the delight of some lasses who were watching and proceeded to whistle, she just smiled and did a bow. Then we lost the car having parked it in an underground car park opposite a bus stop, turned out there was more than one underground car park and bus stop....

I never went back.

The best part of that rifle is the bolt indeed. How is that dual colour achieved?

There are several methods of doing it, but here's one:-

It was/is very popular with "old time" rifles/pistols - think Winchester lever action or Colt Peacemaker etc etc - and is still used today to give the type of coloured finish shown here:-
