Rifle rest/vice

I'm after a gun rest/vice and was wondering what you people use.
I've got my eye on this one:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rifle-Rest-Sh ... 0205995061
mainly because its adjustable (to a degree) and reasonably cheap.
It will be used for holding rifles to clean/work on etc and wont be used for shooting.
I looked at the plastic ones too but they seem a bit steep in price and most lack adjustability too from what I can gather.
What would you people recommend?

I use the MTM shooting range box:

Oodles of space for all of your cleaning bits and pieces and the two rest arms are incredibly non-slip. I've had all sorts of rifle shape in it for cleaning whilst in a variety of environments and surfaces to work off and they simply don't budge.

Effectively it allows me to clean wherever I am instead of having to wait until at home and you'll probably be getting a box to transport cleaning supplies anyway so why not a handy combination?

I use the MTM gunsmith kit.

Holds all sorts of rifles in various orientations. The plastic won't get damaged by the gun cleaning chemicals and is easy to keep clean. I've used this to hold rifles secure for field stripping, scope mounting and cleaning.

I use a Lyman Revolution, similar to this:-

If you shop around, you might get it a bit cheaper. It allows you to work on your rifle at several different angles, and also helps when squaring up the rifle when fitting a scope etc.

To be honest Kranks are cheaper than ebay which is a first to my knowledge and is only a mile away from me. :good:
