Military look 22

Is there still talk of banning military .22, and would that involve them being confiscated without compensation , or just limited to no sales either new or secondhand ?

Oh, thats okay then.. no matter that my wife would have to give up shooting as her Arthritis means that her Ruger 10/22 with its military features has meant she can still hold it.
