Rifle safes

I've recently managed to get a few extra slots on my FAC, and I've been thinking about changing my current arrangement of two gun safes for a single 9 or 10 gun safe.

I think we're all familiar with the "It holds X amount of scoped rifles" adverts where in reality you're lucky to get half the amount in without damaging something. Can anybody recommend a large gun safe that really holds scoped rifles comfortably, preferably side by side?

I have a Brattonsound. TR10 I think. Holds my 2 FTR rifles (scoped), shotgun and 3 * .22 target rifles.

To maximise space in a rifle cabinet, I remove the bolts and store them separately (good security) and `top and tail` the rifles when I stack them.

The Buffalo River 10 gun will comfortably hold 7-8 scoped rifles...

The main thing to look for is the internal depth (front to back).. scoped rifles generally need something around 300mm

This is the one I have along with 2 bratton sounds, I prefer the Buffalo River safe and would buy another.

I have the BSA 6 gun LTD, it comfortably holds 3 scoped rifles, one unscoped, and two shotties. Like ukrifleman I take the bolts out and store them in the lock top box.

We looked at the Infac range of safes at Ivythorn Shooting a week or so ago and were very impressed. Excellent construction quality, well thought out design, very reasonable prices...

Also have a look at DJS https://djsproducts.com/
Not a nicely finished as Brattonsound but good value for money IMHO

I was recently tempted by this one...wardrobe sized capacity and just £100.00.

Whilst that chubb safe is very nice, the hinges on the outside would raise questions on police inspection.
