I've an ARMOUR MK1 moderator that separates into an inner with an outer sleeve. The thread that joins them tends to seize up with residue with less than 100 rnds of use and becomes really hard to unscrew.

I know the easy answer is clean before it seizes but is there a grease that can get used e.g. Copper slip.

as long as you dont slather it on copperslip is ideal for that

As above Copper Slip, cleaning before it really needs doing also helps a lot

I partially unscrew my WildCat Predators after each outing, fully unscrew when I get home, clean, re-apply fresh Copper Slip and partially screw together again.

I use choke lube because I have plenty of it, copper slip or any good anti seize lube should work.

Clean and copperslip it is then.

I used copper ease grease on the nipped thread of my blackpowder pistol and it always aided in removing them for cleaning. I think it would work well for removal of the moderator.

Another vote for Copper slip for a sound moderator thread.

I had a rifle come in end of last week for some work including remove a seized moderator, I ended up having to machine a matching pair of wooden blocks with 37,6mm bore plus a sprinkle of Rosin to hold the moderator securely in the barrel press and use an action wrench to crack it off, it took some effort as well. Under all the carbon on the crown was the most unusual crown job I have ever seen, it looked like someone had stuffed a 10mm drill into the end to recess it.

Apparently the owner purchased the rifle as is with the seized moderator...
