????? Er, the complete tone is GUN OWNERS ARE ALL POTENTIAL SPREE KILLERS - so I fail to see any humour in it!

Shipman or Mengele, I don't trust ANY Doctor to act beyond their own vested interests -; and that's for the ones that aren't alcoholics or self-prescribing drugs from controlled stocks.

GP's kill more of the public than they care to make known, through misdiagnosis & botched prescriptions.
And don't get me started on the death toll in hospitals through acquired infections & the like!

I know lots of people with guns who dont shoot anyone so he must be wrong and therefore by default this must cast doubt on his ability to make a medical decision relating to the health of a third party patient......M'ludd

This is a joke. We are being encouraged by the government to stay active and healthy and the medical profession wants to ban a legitimate sport?

Despite my advancing years I get up at 6am twice a month to spend the day on a shooting range, exercising mind and body and having a great social life.
