Posting of air rifles

#1 Post by Hunter87 »

Hi guys was just wondering if anyone can enlighten my regarding having an non FAC air rifle posted from a private seller is it still legal? or does it have to go through an RFD? What about if I was to buy a spare non FAC air rifle barrel does it have to go via an RFD or can the shop post it to me?

I've been out of the air rifle game for a while.

Many thanks.

2nd hand, person to person is fine & you're even allowed to send using Parcelforce.
Section 1 or 2, private owners can only send standard Royal Mail, TO the recipients RFD, NOT direct.

New? Has to go to buyers RFD
OR, if sent back from repairs, can be sent to customer directly.

Check "Restricted" category"Guns for Sporting Use" on the Royal Mail website.
