I am off to do this course this weekend at Bisley, what happens as far as the two days go?

Classroom in the morning, practical after lunch. Test on the second day, not too hard.

I hope you have read the book through - SEVERAL TIMES!

Only got it last week.

You must read the book and be familiar with its contents, the course is more difficult if you haven't/aren't, also it raises things you may not understand so that you can be sure to have them answered on the course.

Also be prepared to write a range brief

I done the course a couple of weeks ago. The test was on the first day, it is easy though if you've been shooting for a while and been helping your RCO.

As I said read the book and take it all in - not just flick through it
If I were the trainer and you hadn't read it I would send you home!!!
And yes I am an RCO trainer/assessor

Definitely read the book. I borrowed a copy before I got mine to go through it thoroughly, it seriously does help, especially when you're talking about danger zones and mils to know them.

This would have been great info for me when I went as I had no Pen or paper with me, I had to go to sainsburys to fetch these. would have been better if I had known. Take pen and paper. (Y)

It's not hard and the trainers in the classroom are there to help, so if you have questions, don't be afraid to ask.
