Step 1.
Got some suitable cardboard cut to the size and shape you desire and spray over it with fluorescent green or pink paint and allow to dry.For smallish targets you can also use sheets of neon poster paper/card that can be bought at craft shops and places like Staples.

Step 2.
Once dry (if using fluorescent paint) cover the target with a layer of clear packaging tape

Step 3.
Now spray over the target with Matt or satin black paint and allow to dry

Step 4.
Shoot target and watch as your shoots are clearly marked by the bullet passing through the target and exposing the fluorescent paint :good:

Works out a lot cheaper than buying targets and you can make them pretty much any size or shape you like!

thankssign

Sounds like a right faf on to me. I'm to busy re loading and shooting and constructing a new work shop to find the time. I just buy shoot and see targets I don't think they are expensive. But may be some of the other members might want have a go.

How about one of these as a homemade target?

Here is the link to some other of this guys ideas and targets : http://www.parmarng.org/freeidaho/AlSkDjFhG/index.html

I might ad that I haven't read the bulk of his site, I have just read the information regarding the targets so I cannot vouch for the rest of it.
