Shipping scope to SA

Hi,
Does anyone know the rules on shipping a scope to SA from the UK? I had a quick Google but couldn't find anything.

In should not be a problem, out can be problematical dependant on magnification.

Don't even think about using general mail/post office; it just doesn't work in the new SA. DHL or one of the decent courier services.

Thanks all. Ita on an ebay sale using ebays own global sale scheme so I just need to ship to a UK address then ebay is responsible thereafter. The main issue is that I'm responsible for the package being legal
