It seems that those wanting a dedicated AR or straight pull section have had their wishes granted, just it's not on FBUK. Rumour has it was a cunning ploy hatched the mods to get rid of quarrelsome pretendy rifle types and dump them on another board and leave us wooden gun shooters in peace.
Before anybody asks, I got the invite but I haven't RSVP'd

I have heard this as well however I suspect it is not the case.

Emasculated rifles would be a better description than pretendy.............I'm pretty sure a lot more of us would have one if they came with their semi auto balls intact.
I'd have an SVD.........

I too got an invite, though I'm not sure how my email address was leaked to this new forum in order to be contacted from the off.

Well I just checked the email it was sent to, and my one on my account here, and they are not one and the same, so it wasn't leaked from this here forum...
Unless it's someone I've spoken with previously and exchanged email addresses, I'm not sure where they got my email from :/

I can categorically say that nothing was leaked from F-B UK - we have had nothing to do with the creation of the new forum.
F-B UK has not been hacked nor have we given any info out to anyone.
This forum is running a secure connection and nothing has been compromised anywhere.
TG, you are not the only one wondering where the new forum has got email addresses from.
Find the common denominator?
Mailing lists?
Just for the record, one more time, nothing has been leaked from F-B UK and honestly I know nothing about the new forum, I have not even loaded the page.
