are reduced cast lead loads useable on Melville range at Bisley? i'm thinking 7.5x55 Swiss

Ring the range office for a copy of the range orders. It should contain all the specifics of what ammo is allowed on that particular range.

I honestly can't see why reduced loads would be banned. Reduced loads compared to what? Factory ammo? And then what particular factory ammo? If such was the case then all hand loaded ammo would probably need to be banned from deviating away from factory specs.

Page three states fullbore rifles other than gallery rifles are not permitted on Melville unless you get permission first.

thanks that clears it up I will email the range office prior to any visit and see what their position is .

It also states "2.c. Cartridges which, when normally loaded, would exceed the ME/MV limits of any specific range, may not be used on that range even if downloaded." .............. which does not prohibit a downloaded 303 on century but does on Melville & a 50BMG would not be allowed on any range even if downloaded.

However.............. a cartridge specifically made under CIP & proven might be allowed as that is deliberately abnormally loaded?
