I did not complete the form as the age question was a required field.

From the form it seem that you would need a smart phone for this, as I am not a smart phone user then it is irrelevant to me.

You might be better considering something that would work for everyone rather than just some people with a specific phone type.

Adam it may be difficult to get the data up your bit of string

It is electric string, any good?

Now that will work, as long as it is cat 5 with good quality tin cans (Heinz) or something from fortnum and mason

A lot of these already exist, new ones seem to arrive quickly as well. Is the way forward but the costs are the issue.
