Its accurate - I was looking at a HPS until one bloody fte cost me two rounds.
This slo mo has actually confirmed what I thought was the cause - the Vepr is VERY sensitive to anything placed on top cover.
My next job is to weld a short section of picatinny rail in place of rearsight and move the red dot there.

Are you sure you can't just get a dedicated 'scout' mount to replace the rear sight? I've got one on my VZ58 so i'd be surprised if there wasn't one that would fit your Vepr

It's funny the things you find out once you slow everything down.
I wonder if this shooter wondered why he's getting a dent in the top of every empty case?
