Another way to get new people into shooting

We all know this is an issue, so we are launching some 'Shooting Experience' days here at Silverstone Shooting Centre.

A variety of days are on offer, from simple 'taster days' to see if someone likes the idea of target shooting to full days shooting or target sports (adds axe throwing and cross bow shooting into the mix). The days are especially suitable for those who do shoot wanting to bring someone along to have a go to see if they like it.

The usual Section 21 rules apply of course and the experiences are all run by NRA RCOs/Club Instructors so safety is of course paramount. Full details here:

Sounds like a good opportunity to bring my stepson along. He's fifteen, shot before, but mostly air rifle.
He is keen to apply for his own Fac! :good:

Hats off to Silverstone Shooting Centre - I know a guy in Leicester who will be really keen to attend assuming he can afford.
Well done and thanks! Shooting needs as many of these type of initiatives as it can create.

For the lads 12th birthday I took him and three of his mates clay shooting. His mates had never shot anything before and are now converts :good:
Its a good way to get new blood into the sport. Cheap taster days will bring surprising amounts of new shooters I reckon.
