Now I'm not a very good shopper so I've been planning on buying replacement overtrousers for several years!! My main use is prone target shooting plus RO'ing. I swallowed hard when my wife suggested a trip to yatchy shops and saw the prices.....So I saved myself for Aldi....yay!!!
At the moment Aldi have camo or green fishing trousers for £25. Breathable, waterproof, windproof and padded. Zip and Velcro fly so no more accidents on the bib

. Opening ankle for boots.
Hope this helps someone!!

Cool, I will take a look. I've been using some old snowboard salopettes. Keeps me warm and dry, but they have seen better days.

I use those country covers (now Fortis clothing) overtrousers,i wear jeans or whatever under them in winter and just the over trousers in less cold conditions, they are waterproof and breathable,£100 tho,but I've had mine 8 years with God knows how much stalking, rough shooting and range time and they are still amazing...

I guess everyone has heir own favourites....
I bought NewOldStock german army bib overtrousers.
First pair lasted me 8 years cycling to work every day. Am now on second pair and bought a third to go in the loft for when current ones wear out!
For £35 they're amazing.... Genuine Goretex without other branding. No padding in these though.

Seller huitz-uk. And the 42/44 is 'gross' so a large... Good overtrousers on my 36/38 uk waist.

Aldi also sell fisherman's gloves with fold back fingers for £4-99 if I remember correctly.
They are made of some sort of green neoprene type material and are warm and waterproof, terrific value for money.

I have a pair of DPM overtrousers by Kammo.

They are warm and silent. If you wash and retreat them correctly they will last you years. Had mine about 10 years. They are cheaper now than when I bought them, bugger!

Overtrousers they are not, but I bought a pair of 5.11 Tactical trousers in Teflon coated ripstop polycotton with reinforced gusset and many pockets for just £35.
I can confirm that they are water resistant, windproof and keep me warm on cold days.
For very cold days I have a pair of fleece lined Buffalo trousers.

I have been using Regatta Professional waterproof (breathable) trousers for the last 2 seasons and they are superb, it's Isotex 5000 which copes well with kneeling/sitting in pools of water during the winter CSR matches, under £30 delivered on ebay.
