Does anyone know if there are any restrictions on importing AR type stocks from the states?

Two things you need to check. The stock you want ‘may’ been on the ITAR list, if it is, it’s a no go. Secondly, if it’s over the $99 threshold for ‘gun parts’ you’ll need to pay for an export license, which 9 tunes out of 10 makes in not worth it.

Ive just had a live chat with gun city in NZ and they say they can ship to the UK but I need to forward to them an import permit so they can raise an export permit? All sounds rather long winded and expensive.
Its a bit of plastic FFS!!!!

I've recently got in touch with a Norwegian company who are going to be importing a stock from the US for me. Exporting fees is 10% of the item cost, and the Norwegian company is charging 10% commission. It can be done, but with some charges.
What stock/chassis are you looking for, and are you 100% sure there aren't European dealers who already have it in stock (pardon the pun :)).

I'm after an ATI Hatsan Escort Talon 2 Stock. The only shops coming to light on google are in the states and NZ.
The stock is discontinued so it looks slim that I'll get one over here.

Look on egun.de , there's a lot of AR stuff on there and no import license / duty .
