Anyone had any good results in the use of copper solvent in rifle bores.
I have been using No9 now for some time.
Range members claim various other products are better such as
Hoppes , Tipton, Tetra anyone got any conclusions regarding this issue.

For me it would be BoreTech Copper Remover, Sweets or Proshot Copper Remover.

If the bore is particularly bad, especially on a newly acquired gun, I’ll treat it to some dilute Amonia solution. Just have to be careful where you get it on the rest of the gun. You can even plug the barrel and leave it in for a couple of hours. It’ll sort out the copper and make the lead a lot easier to remove. Won’t harm the barrel. Just rinse it throughly afterwards.

Beat me to it.......this stuff is brilliant and also good if using corrosive Berdan-primed milsurp ammo that can be quite dirty. It can also be diluted with water so a little can go a long way.
