Hi,

Rossi is shooting high 6-7" at 25 yards and was shooting right about 4".

I have tapped the rear sight and have got the POI sorted for windage.

Is there anywhere in the UK that does a taller front post for the Rossi please?

I only shoot Indoor at 25 yards so making sure my shots go where I need them for safety is a must.

any???? thankssign

Regards

Chris

If anyone can, its likely to be A&A Gunsmiths.

I bought a new front sight for my round barrel from here

but because I bought a fibre one, can't use it for cowboy, so it never went on. think I bought the green

Thats why I suggested contacting A&A, as they bring in all sorts of underlever bits from USA for modding Ubertis and Rossi's etc for cowboy action shooting.

I have 2 skinner tall and very tall front posts on the way from USA. I will probably only need one. PM me if you want the other. Not sure if it will fit though. Dovetail front post.

I had a similar problem at 50 yards with my Rossi M92 lever.

I removed the elevation ramp from the rear sight and it now shoots POA/POI.

have similar problem with my Rossi 92.
I have the older front sight (part of the front barrel band)
I've lowered the rear as much as possible, still shoots 6inches high at 25yds.
I intend using the dremel to cut a higher front sight out of a suitable thickness washer,
Can anyone tell me roughly how much I need to increase the front sight height to lower the POI by 6inches at 25yds. I can obviously fine tune with a file at the range.
Thanks
Alan
