I didn't realise until I saw this that there are unofficial restrictions taking place on the sales of high capacity magazines:

Either they've heard something we haven't or are just being overly cautious, my money is on the latter.

They’re talking bollox!!!

It’s nothing more than a “sales” pitch. “Oh look how rare this is, look how rare it’s going to be, now give me £550...”

Their statement holds no more credibility than what I heard a couple of days ago from a senior police officer that shotgun certificates were going to be abolished and you’ll be able to buy single and double barrel guns on the production of a UK driving licence only...
