Anyone stalking with a 6,5-284?

I am thinking of moving to 6,5-284 for stalking and looking for advice on choice of bullet, it will be for Roe and Fallow however possibly Reds. Or should I look at the 6,5x55 instead?

Thoughts anyone?

I shoot a 6.5-284, but only at paper, I wouldn't want to hump my rifle round the woods. It's a good accurate cartridge, easy to load for but tends to be a bit of a barrel burner if you shoot it a lot.
