Which collet pullers do you recommend from experience, and why?

Thanks!

If you use the Hornady LNL bushes, use the Hornady cam lock puller! I use the RCBS puller with the LNL bushes and every time I loosen the puller to release the bullet, it twists out of the LNL bush.

The RCBS would be fine if it was tightened in a press without the bushes.

I use Hornady screwed in as normal to the the lock nut. I break the sharp edge of the collet very slightly with a diamond stone or similar which further reduces the chance of marking the projectiles if you wish to use them again.

I found the Forster offering to be very good, but only after Davy had fitted a tommy bar and cleaned its collets up a bit.

My RCBS works well. I always give the bullet a sideways 'tweak' before pulling it.

Thanks all.

So, recommendations for Hornady, Forster and RCBS.

That doesn't help my chronic indecisiveness!

I guess they must all be OK.

Well that is easy, which ever is available with the collet(s) you require. This was the only driving factor for me, I needed a puller that would deal with 22cal, 6,5mm and 7-8mm bullets and he only one I could find with available bullets was the Hornady :)
