Hi all,

I am in the process of relocating to Wilts and I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience, contacts or recommendations for a club around the Salisbury area?

I have seen Salisbury Vintage RPC, Salisbury RPC and Tidworth RPC online. My disciplines/shooting interests range from 'historic' (BP pistol, muzzle loaders, Martini, Snider and 45-70) through to service rifles (Enfields, Mauser, Mosin) and then more modern straight pull rifles. Ideally looking to shoot on MoD ranges and I am keen to get involved in an active club.

Any information appreciated.

I'll be down in Salisbury itself. Frome looks like a great club, it's just an hour away!

i travel from Chippenham, its an hour, but its the best facility around.

Fair point. I'll take a look.

I too travel an hour to FDPC an awful lot of the members do.

I'm just outside Salisbury and Bisley is an hour & 15 minutes away.

FDPC to regularly arrange MOD range visits which members can attend.

Thanks for the input all. I've contacted FDPC and I am also looking at TRPC. I contacted SVRPC and they're not taking new members (yet). I do currently shoot at Bisley fairly regularly but that is normally all by myself (awwww) so I'm looking for a club. FDPC does look very good.
