Just thought anyone running a Targetmaster with a 10/10 or Lyman M5 scale might be interested in this short video.

Great stuff Allan.
I will want the 10-10 sensor when they come available.
Button on the electric string will need a new socket wired in and added to original Target Masters?
Great to see that 3D printer getting hammer.
Just as an aside the Target Master is just perfect for my rimfire reloading project which uses such fine amounts of priming compound and powder.

Allan,
Nice work.
When do you envisage the 10/10 bracket and usb camera bracket will become available?

I started of with .22rf as a casting challenge, the aim was to develop Tenex accuracy/consistency at less than Blazer prices. After some 800 rnds loaded and shot I am satisfied it can be done with scrupulous QC at all steps in the process. Worth doing for day to day target shooting? Probably not. But as an exercise in casting and handloading practice it is extremely challenging and humbling.
After this I moved on to .22WMR and .17HMR. This is an easier process as it does not need heeled bullets and quality jacketed bullets are readily available. It also has more practical applications, the quality of WMR and HMR ammunition is extremely variable. Handloading these calibres for live quarry shooting can give fine consistency, accuracy and terminal performance. It also means I can load these calibres to be used within range limits on ranges that they currently exceed.
I have loaded and shot around 500 rounds of both calibres however progress is presently stalled as I have been having priming compound consistency issues. I am in discussions with the supplier at the moment seeking further insight on this key component, a new batch is on way to me for further testing.
Definitely a niche activity but we all need to do something to pass the time 'till we are dead.

Hats off to you sir, a challenge indeed. I've always been aware that it could be done but seen the process as more use in a survival situation. How are you dealing with the cases? I know at one time you could buy primed empty cases in the USA but can't imagine they are available here, do you just make sure the firing pin strikes in a different place?
I use about 1.3 gn of bullseye in my .32 Zylab Patriot pistol what sort of load are you using for .22lr.
In the past I've had a play with various sabot rounds for .22lr but any sort of accuracy has been a problem.
