Does anyone have any experience with this brand of optics, in particular their reflex sights?


I wanted to get a reflex/holographic to chuck on a .22 for the moment but would ideally like something that can take the forces of a full bore if I ever decide to get a straight pull which is why I do not mind spending a bit on sights like this.

I believe Holosun make the Sightmark and they seem to get good reviews. Friend of mine uses one on his Armsan shotgun with no problems.

Do you know if it holds it's zero well?

I used a Sightmark Ultrashot QD on my BR99 box mag shotgun for 2 years without issue. The sight has been on 2 x .22's, a 9mm and a 12bore and its still going strong. My only criticism is the wierd batteries mine runs on but i believe the current generation run on standard battery types (CR123's etc)

Was it easy to sight in? The current gen run on more common battery types.

No harder/easier than most red-dots. It just has the standard arrangement of two adjustment ports (mine takes an allen key), one for windage, the other for elevation. I've never had a problem with it losing zero either. As a budget red-dot they're hard to beat IMO.

Any recommendations of online retailers, I could get one from?

No particular recommended place. I think i bought mine from UKMC Pro back in the day as it was the few places to have them, but a quick Google search and it seems tons of places have them now, Optics Warehouse, Uttings, Patrolbase. I'd just shop around for the best price
