P14 scope mount

Has anyone ever found a suitable mount for a P14. I have a S&B 6x42 that could go on it, but have heard bad things about the B square mounts, not that I’ve even found one available. I don’t want to alter the rifle either!

There are repro WW2 sniper mounts for the p14 to be had on ebay ( often wrongly listed as SMLE sniper mounts )
