I have been shooting for a long time but have always done any ammendments to my FAC at renewal. I want to put in a variation for a moderator for one of my current 22lr rifles, I know that the reason is best put as "health and safety" but do I have to state which gun I want to moderate or if granted can I use on any of my rifles which are all cut for a suppressor.?
Thanks in advance.

I've never had to stipulate, just requested a mod. and I wouldn't think twice about using it on multiple guns as it appears as it's own entry, not attached to another firearm listing

I guessing you have to specify what caliber you want the moderator in, as like most I have several on my FAC?

Yes .22rf Moderator, & yes use on any .22rf rifle you own.

I’ve only ever had to specify rimfire or centerfire moderator.

One other thing, do you have to pay for each change or can you put ie: 22lr moderator, moderated 6.5mm creed more on the same variation form for the one fee?

Variation price is per application, NOT the number of variations on that application, so change as much as you like - same price

I have had sound moderators ( Thames Valley, Herts and Met ) on my ticket with no calibre - I simply explained that the items would work on any calibre up to .30 calibre ( as opposed to specifying any of the various cartridges that fall under that calibre )
