All in there will be 4 Anti-Gun articles in today's times.

Our old friend Mike Yardley will be happy, his name is in there right across from the smirking face of the Christchurch killer.

Last time this happened I was surprised to find there was very little public support for changes and even the comments sections of these articles were full of people all saying you can’t legislate against insanity. Not just gun owners either.

Why? Because it fits an agenda of someone. Doesn't matter that it's factually incorrect. Poop sticks.

Exactly.

The mantra of the media, is as always, never let the true facts get in the way of a good story that manipulates public perception to suit your own agenda.

As for that slimy weasel, Yardley..... ****

That second article looks pretty balanced to me, not anti gun. They let the shop owners speak and stress the requirement for a license and background checks etc.

Their leader article in the same issue is not balanced though. Entitled Arms Control, it says that military style weapons must not be available to private gun enthusiasts, and adds "A paucity of guns translates into a low level of gun crime" and "Keeping firearms out of the hands of fanatics is a public duty".
