Just back from a trip to Gibraltar. Timed it wrong as The Island Games start there next week and I could have watched the shooting ****

I was doing some research in the Garrison Library and came across this newspaper advert for Eley ammunition from 1868:

I'd never thought of .451 calibre as smallbore ...

Well it was when in came in as the issue calibre was .577".
