its not a requirement of HOA to have your own range, they can book lanes at Bisley on your behalf if you are a member

I was aware of that, so they don't have their own range.

How do they deal with guest days when using other club ranges?

BASC is not a shooting club it is an organization that represents shooters. They don't have guest days they don't book ranges either. What made you think they had there own ranges.

Same way as any other club holding a guest day on a range they don't own (if that's what BASC do). It happens at Bisley all the time.

What's brought this up?

So, are they restricted to 12 days a year for non FAC holders and police informed of those days?

Here for example...…..

Is that a guest day for Silverstone club, ie one of their 12 allowed days? Non FAC holders welcomed to attend and shoot.

I feel there is something behind the somewhat vague questions....

All I know is that two of the three clubs I'm a member of don't bother with guest days as it's just too much hassle....
