A quick bit of market research, how many of you shoot at a range with acoustic drums on the firing point, how good are they and where did they come from?

You beat me to mentioning Blairadam,Mike357 wrote:Fife & Kinross FB shoot at Blairadam just outside Kinross. They were required to introduce these as a result of noise issues.
I've visited a couple of times and they seem little more than blur plastic barrels with the bottoms cut off and lined with foam, possibly the type used in studios etc to suppress noise. Can't comment on the effectiveness.

One of the barrels has a yellow ring painted on the outside edge to signify it is the only one to be used with rifles with mussel brakes,
It is interesting how much the foam inside gets buffeted by the gasses.
