Can't see it driving down prices in the UK much?

Those ITAR regulations have been a major thorn in the side of many shooters - stopping us from buying a wide variety of sights, for example, and many other items Any relaxation would be welcome.

Will this mean that we can buy Boyd stocks directly from them that are more than $100??

From what I understood, in the first instance it will be easing the ITAR restrictions on whole firearms, with a view to moving other non-firearm articles from ITAR regulations to Department of Commerce (regular customs) as time goes on.

Fingers crossed this has a knock on effect of easier to get parts and peripherals over this side of the pond.

VAT and import duty will remain the same.

Indeed.

Or until as well as allowing in chlorinated chicken, growth-hormoned beef and NHS destroyers we have to have zero tariffs on firearms etc.

I don't see what the issue is with chlorine washed chickens. We've had chlorine in our water supply for years now. Any chicks washed at home are done in chlorinated water. So what's the big deal. Must say I'm looking forward to helping out the American economy & HMRC. Got quite a shopping list in mind.

Yes, plus the £8 the Royal Mail stick on.
It's more practical for me to just make a list and fill my boots every other month. The upside is, I suppose, that various scopes will now be permitted to come back too.

Trump Administration might be in office when it goes through but I heard it was Obama's that started this and it kept getting pushed back by all the 'mass shooting incidents' that would've made for some great headlines if the measures went through at those times.
